Stainless Steel “Z” Springs, for hive clipping

“Worth their weight in gold”

These springs are readily available from the appliance trade. They are strong and secure enough to hold a hive together for transport purposes. They are quick and easy to use and aid productivity and efficiency, without costing much.

Having googled for these I had no success. Not listed (as far as I can find) in Thornes catalogue, so over to you. I include one illustration so you can see what he refers to.?

Personally I use Spanset straps for moving bees as they are highly effective near bomb proof, and VERY useful in the workshop for cramping awkward shapes.
